If you thought that today would be your regular wednesday in La La Land, then think again!

Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie calling it quits on the relationship, with Jolie filing for divorce in LA court overnight.

It follows rumours that the pair were headed for Splitsville, after reports surfaced that Ange wasn’t too happy about Brad’s substance abuse problem mixing with his apparent “short fuse,” citing that it couldn’t be healthy and could be quite dangerous for the kids.

There have also been talk of an affair with French actress and Marion Cotillard, who he reportedly grew close to on the set of their upcoming movie Allied in London.

In documents obtained by TMZ, the divorce papers cite “irreconcilable differences,” with Ange seeking sole physical custody of their six kids, Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, though not spousal support from Pitt.

In a statement, Brad said he was saddened by the move Jolie made.

what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids,” he said. “I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”

Triathlete Helps His BROTHER Across The Finish Line

If you thought the moment when two runners finished a race together after falling was the only great bit of sportsmanship we’d see this year, think again!

Triathlon brothers from the UK Alistair Jonathan Brownlee were racing in the final world championship race in Mexico when heat exhaustion hit Jonno about one kilometer away from the finish line.

Rather than finishing and getting the series championship trophy on offer, Alistair decided to not go full ‘Et Tu Brute’ from roman times, gave up the win, and helped his brother out to finish the race.

Now now, shed no tears for young Jonathan Brownlee, he recovered enough in hospital to not only thank his brother, but to also have a bit of a joke at himself.

Aussie Ben Mendelsohn Wins Big At Emmys!

Aussie Ben Mendelsohn has come from well outside the favourites to pick up the Emmy for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, beating out Game Of Thrones actors Kit Harrington & Peter Dinklage in the process!

Mendelsohn thought he was so much of an outsider for the award, that he didn’t even bother showing up for the awards, with presenter Taraji P. Henson accepting the award on his behalf.

In what was the boilover of the night, he not only beat out Harrington and Dinklage from GOT but he also defeated Jonathan Banks from Better Call SaulJon Voight from Ray Donovan, andMichael Kelly from House of Cards.

It’s an amazing win for Mendelsohn, who’s show Bloodline has already been confirmed as cancelled by Netflix for after it’s next season.

It’s also amazing to think Mendelsohn won when his character Danny Rayburn was killed off at the end of season one, only appearing in season two via flashback and dream visions.
