ARE WE GETTING NEW ARIANA GRANDE THIS FRIDAY?

ARE WE GETTING NEW ARIANA GRANDE THIS FRIDAY?

She’s been teasing new music for the last couple of weeks, but could we be seeing something new from Ariana Grande?

If her Instagram is to be believed, then the diminutive pop princess is going to be releasing a brand new single this Friday, and we are absolutely chomping at the bit for anything new from Ari.

ʎɹɔ oʇ ʇɟǝl sɹɐǝʇ ou 4.20

A post shared by Ariana Grande (@arianagrande) on

The caption to the post reads “ʎɹɔ oʇ ʇɟǝl sɹɐǝʇ ou 4.20” which if corrected reads “No Tears Left To Cry 4.20.”

It’s unsure if No Tears Left To Cry is the name of the new single, but what is known is that 4.20 is the American way of saying April 20th, which is this Friday.

Grande went through a traumatic ordeal last year, when her Manchester concert on her Dangerous Woman Tour was chosen as the target of a suicidebombing attack in May, causing 23 deaths and over 500 injuries to patrons.

Grande then went on to raise over £10 million for relief efforts as part of the One Love Manchester event that featured Ariana alongside big music names like Robbie Williams, Miley Cyrus and Niall Horan.

PRAY FOR YOUR WALLETS, SPLENDOUR 2018 LINE UP IS HERE AND IT’S A DOOZY

It’s always an exciting time of year when the Splendour In The Grass lineup drops and you can see who you want to spend money on to watch them perform in a muddy field in Byron in the middle of July.

Well this year we’re all laying down prayers for our wallets and purses, with this years line up STACKED full of 2017’s biggest artists.

Of the back of his number 1 song of 2017 HUMBLE., Kendrick Lamar is making his way down under to perform, along with the likes of Lorde in her only Australian show, Vampire Weekend, Khalid & The Wombats all dropping by.

Couple that with great Aussie acts like Hilltop Hoods, Angus & Julia Stone, Dune Rats, PNAU, Gang Of Youths and 2018 Ocean Rhythms headliner Amy Shark and you’ve got what looks like a pretty solid lineup for this weekend festival.

Tickets go on sale from next Thursday April 19 at 9.00am via Moshtix and it’ll set you back a cool $399 to go to all three days of the festival. Couple that with a $129 camping pass, and you’re looking at $528 just to see some of your favourite acts.

TO INFINITY! TOY STORY 4 HAS A RELEASE DATE!

Even though there’s a bit of a wait, fans of the film series Toy Story are “buzzing” at the news that a release date has been announced for the 4th instalment of the Pixar animated franchise.

The studio announced on Friday that the latest installment of Buzz, Woody and the whole gang will hit screens on June 21, 2019, send fans on social media into a frenzy.

The first Toy Story was released in 1995 and kicked off the story of Woody the cowboy and Buzz Lightyear the astronaut, who started off being rivals and then turned into firm friends. The film has since spawned two more films, with the last being released in 2010.

Some fans have questioned what the new film will be about, as Toy Story 3 wrapped things up at the end, but producers are keeping tight-lipped, with fans hoping to get more news as they eagerly await next summer’s big release.

One thing we do know is that Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will be returning to lend their voices to Woody and Buzz. Tom said in an interview in 2016: “I can’t wait to see what they’ve got Woody up to.”

SWIFTIES WERE ON THE HUNT FOR DUA LIPA IN 2016, BECAUSE FANS ARE JUST NUTS

SWIFTIES WERE ON THE HUNT FOR DUA LIPA IN 2016, BECAUSE FANS ARE JUST NUTS

She might be the most streamed Artist in the UK in 2017 and she may have picked up two BRIT awards last week, but there was a time when fans of Taylor Swift wanted “New Rules” singer Dua Lipa wanted her dead!

In a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Lipa talked about how back in 2016 she received death threats from fans of the “Shake It Off singer” because she apparently had sided with Kanye West over her in the duo’s on-going beef.

“I wasn’t thinking about their beef,” Lipa revealed.

“I was thinking about their music, and Taylor is amazing, but I’m such a hip-hop fan that I would probably choose Kanye over anyone.”

Lipa went on to admit that the reaction from Team Swift went way beyond her expectations and not in a good way.

“They were sending me snake emojis for, like, three days straight. They’re like, ‘I hope you die.’ I’m like, ‘Yo! I literally didn’t say anything,'” she recalled.

Back in October, Dua seemed to recruit Swifties in her corner after the budding singer was spotted wearing a Speak Now shirt during a fan meet and greet. In fact, she even caught the attention of Taylor herself. Unfortunately, the tide turned after Dua’s 2016 interview made the rounds, at least for her diehard fans.

Mark Wahlberg has to be the front runner in the Worst actor category being nominated for two of his films this year in Daddy’s Home 2 and Transformers, but he’s up against Tom Cruise (The Mummy, Jamie Dornan, Johnny Depp and Zac Efron, a truly great category filled with good actors who asked themselves “Why did I do this movie again?”
