MAX FM’S TIPPING MATE – ROUND 16

Time to see if we can get you eight out of eight for this round 16 edition of the Max FM Tipping Mate, kicking off tonight with the top-of-the-table Dragons taking on the bottom-of-the-table Parramatta,

This should be fairly easy for the Dragons whose form this year continues to surprise, even with the Eels having won the past five meetings against St George. Four of those five were at home for the Eels and the way they’ve gone this year, I’m thinking this could be a big St George win, I’m going by at least 20 points.

Friday nights games sees the Warriors up against the Sharks at Mt Smart Stadium in NZ, the last two times the Sharks have played across the ditch has seen them win against the Warriors, and I have a feeling they might do it again.

We than move to Adelaide where the Roosters take on the Storm, Storm have won four of the last five against the Chooks and are ahead on the ladder despite playing one less game. Neutral venue games are also usually very good games for Melbourne, so I’m on them to win this one.

Saturday sees Penrith go up against Manly, should be an easy win to the 10 and four panthers against the Sea Eagles who have lost their last four on the trot, Newcastle should account for the Bulldogs, purely on the fact they’ll be getting Kaylyn Ponga back after a stellar Origin 2 and it’s at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle, and rounding out Saturday its Brisbane and Canberra at Suncorp, with the Broncos on a five game win streak against the Raiders, they should extend that to six games on the trot.

Sundays two games sees the Tigers go against the Gold Coast at Leichhardt. The return of Robbie Farah to the club should see a big emotional lift from the Tigers who’ll be too good for the Titans, and finally South Sydney should easily account for the Cowboys, given their stellar run during the middle part of this season.
