COULD A LOVE ISLAND COUPLE BE PUTTING IT ON?

RUMOURS are flying around courtesy of evicted contestants Millie & Mark that one couple aren’t playing Love Island the correct way – saying how loved up they are just so they can split the $50,000 first prize for winning the series which concludes tomorrow night.

“I think Eden and Erin put on a massive show for the cameras about how happy they are,” Millie told news.com.au.

“I do believe that they do have genuine feelings for each other, but they do have a very toxic relationship with jealousy issues and they are very egotistical people.”

We’ll wait and see if Eden & Erin win the cash prize, but they’re up against tough competition according to the two most recent evictees, with Grant Tayla’s relationship apparently being the most genuine in the house.

BLACK KEYS MUSICIAN PASSES AWAY AGED 41

SINGER songwriter Richard Swift, who has worked in bands previously like The Black Keys & The Shins, has passed away from an undisclosed illness at the young age of just 41 overnight.

Tributes for the artist have flooded onto social media, with Black Keys members Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney releasing a joint statement on the band’s Instagram account.

“He was the funniest person we ever met, one of the most talented musicians we have ever worked with and we feel so honoured to have known him. RIP Richard,” it reads.

It was revealed last month that Swift was hospitalized due to a “serious medical condition,” with a GoFundMe page set up to help raise money for his medical bills, which had generated $87,605 since starting up.

“YOU DON’T GET A PRESIDENCY! YOU DON’T GET A PRESIDENCY! NOBODY GETS A PRESIDENCY!”

OPRAH Winfrey has dashed all hopes of being the next President of the United States, after saying a campaign could quite possible kill her if she did.

After her speech at the Golden Globes in January, there were rumours swirling and whispers that she might possibly look to go for the highest office in America, but she has since shut them down in an interview with British Vogue.

“In that political structure – all the non-truths, the bulls—, the crap, the nastiness, the backhanded backroom stuff that goes on – I feel like I could not exist,” Winfrey told the magazine. “I would not be able to do it. It’s not a clean business.”

Winfrey also insisted that while she’s staying away from politics, she’s determined to continue voicing her support against sexual abuse, harassment and discrimination.

IT AIN’T CHEAP BEING A DUCHESS

DETAILS about Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle’s clothing bill have come out, and people have been left jaws a-gaping as to the overall spend since she’s been confirmed to be with Prince Harry.

Since her engagement to Prince Harry last November, Meghan Markle has stepped out in approximately $AU1.36 million worth of (often bespoke) clothing and accessories, with most of that being taken up by the $599.000 wedding dress she wore designed by Clare Waight Keller.

And while Meghan may have chipped in to help with the cost of her wedding looks, Its reportedly Prince Charles who’s been picking up the tab for her “working royal wardrobe” post-nuptials.
